General Information

Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and Sevastopol city state administration held holding the International Forum «Crimea Hi-Tech – 2014» 25th to 27th September 2014 in Sevastopol.

The objective of the Forum was:

  • to foster information exchange;
  • to establish multi-disciplinary research connections within the Russian and the international scientific community
  • to implement advanced forms of interaction between scientific and educational institutions and high-tech companies operating in the real sector of economy;
  • as well as to integrate research capacities of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol into the infrastructure of the Russian scientific research sector.

Events of the Forum

Business program of the International Forum «Crimea Hi-Tech - 2014» included:

  • Conference activities (plenary sessions, oral and poster presentations, thematic sections);
  • A contest for young scientists;
  • Exhibition and presentation events.

Within the framework of the Forum, the 10th "New time" International Salon of Innovations and Inventions was held. The program of the Salon included:

  • an international contest for innovative projects;
  • an innovation and hi-tech fair;
  • individual presentations by exhibiting organizations.

Additional Information

The Forum is prepared and organized using the financial mechanisms of the Federal Target Program "Research and development on priority directions of scientific-technological complex of Russia for 2014-2020".

The Forum is managed by the Scientific Research Institute – Federal Research Centre for Projects Evaluation and Consulting Services (SRI FRCEC), as the winner of an open competition for holding of this event (as of 26 August 2014).
